RUFC - Taylor on his move to Rotherham

Rotherham United's new striker, Jason Taylor, says that he had other teams interested in him but he joined the Millers because he thinks they going places in the future.

Speaking to MillersWorld, the twenty-one year old said, 'The lads have welcomed me and I've settled in well. I've found my feet and got off to a good start on Saturday with a win. I knew Rotherham had been interested in me for some time and I see them as an up and coming club. They've had their problems in the past but that's all behind them now and it's onwards and upwards.

'I'm an energetic player and a leader and I like to keep things simple.'

Speaking about the game tonight against Scunthorpe in the area final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, he said, 'Scunthorpe are a good side and their front four are very dangerous. But the lads won't be afraid of them and we are very capable of beating them on the day. We're taking a good following and we just have to keep ourselves in the game.

'We can't start thinking about Wembley yet - it's two games and miles away from that.'
