'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Breckin on the injuries

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin, says that goalkeeper, Andy Warrington is a 'great lad to have in the team.'

Speaking to MillersWorld, Breckin continued, 'We knew what we were getting when we signed Andy. He's experienced and has had a great career which we hope will continue with us. He works really hard in training and is a really good professional. One or two 'keepers are fruit and nutcases aren't they? But not Andy Warrington - in fact, at times I think he's too nice for a goalkeeper! He's a bit sore after his first game back from injury on Tuesday night but he pulled off one or two great saves and did really well under pressure.

'There's good news on Stephen Brogan too. He's trying to push his way back and is biting at the bit but we've got to be patient with him. But he's doing really well.

'The bad news is about Richie Barker, who has a knee problem and has to see a specialist. Until he's seen the specialist we won't know how bad it is.'
