RUFC - Robins 'Players will work their socks off'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, says he's not panicing about the fact that the team haven't scored a goal in the last three games.

Up to now, Robins has resisted too many changes in the front row of the team, despite having plenty of choice and he told
The Advertiser ahead of the game with Macclesfield Town tomorrow, 'As a manager you have to resist this knee-jerk thing. I see the players on a daily basis and have an insight into them and yes, I have options up front, but it's important that we are as strong as can be. Some of the players had dark times last season and they came through because they are a good professional bunch. They are really disappointed with themselves at the moment and what I do know is they will continue to work their socks off. As long as they do that they'll win more than they lose.'

Robins also said, 'It's not the time to ring too many changes.' Saying that, the manager has said that he is looking to bring some new blood into the squad before the transfer window deadline with Assistant Manager, John Breckin, telling Radio Sheffield yesterday evening that the club were talking with two strikers and hoping that one could be signed in time for the game at Don Valley tomorrow.
