'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Breckin 'every game is a tough one'

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin says that every game in this league is going to be a tough one.

The Millers take on Macclesfield tomorrow at Don Valley who they beat 2-1 earlier in the season. Speaking to MillersWorld yesterday, Breckin said, 'It's going to be a very tough game and we know Macclesfield will come to Don Valley and try and make it very hard for us. We've done our homework on them and we know Keith Alexander will have prepared well and they will try and frustrate us. But, it's up to us to take the game to them and get back to winning ways.

'We are creating chances and it was frustrating to concede such a bad goal at Darlington on Tuesday night. We created enough chances and it would be nice to stick some in the back of the net. But we are working on that in training and the lads are a great bunch and are working hard. If we create enough chances eventually it will change and they will go in the back of the net. Reuben Reid has been left out of the side a little bit because of staffing and has spoke to Mark (Robins) about it and has tried to put his game right. He's training hard and he's got to take that into the game and we've got to see more from him. I will put one thing straight, we've had no offers for him at all.'

Talking about possible transfer targets, Beckin said he would not name any names but that the club were in talks with two players but it was early days although it had been hoped that something would have happened by last night.
