RUFC - Broughton hopes for 2 wins out of 2

RUFC - Broughton hopes for 2 wins out of 2

Rotherham United defender, Drewe Broughton thinks tomorrow's game with Macclesfield Town is going to be tough.

Speaking to MillersWorld about the Millers, the thirty year old said, 'The last two games have been strange. At Grimsby we had loads of chances and we had the lions share of the game at Darlington. But, it's like that some weeks and at the moment the ball won't go in. But I don't think it's anything to worry about. We had our blip in late November early December and I don't think this is anything like that.

'I think teams are aware of Rotherham United and of how we turned the minus points around and that sets us a task. I don't think any of the teams who started with minus points would have been there if they had started on nil. There's no shocks anymore and anybody can beat anybody because standards have got better and better and the players are fitter.

'I think Bournemouth and Luton have a tough task. I've been in relegation scraps before and you look at the league every Saturday and it just saps your confidence. And it's not so much the points it's how strong the dressing room is and how tough the characters are in those dressing rooms.

'We've got Macclesfield tomorrow and I know Keith Alexander's side will be physical and it will be a tough game.

'There's three months of the season left and there's plenty to play for. We've got two home games now and let's hope for six points from them.'
