'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Reid 'good to get a win'

Rotherham United striker, Reuben Reid, admitted that he was overdue a goal and was pleased he got one on Saturday in the win over Macclesfield at Don Valley.

Speaking to MillersWorld, Reid said, 'It was nice to get three points and good that we won and kept a clean sheet. I thought it was a well fought game that we dominated. We've been struggling when we've gone a goal behind so it was nice to score first with the Mark Hudson goal. It was a well worked goal with a one-two with Tongey down the wing. We felt comfortable at one-nil but it isn't a safe scoreline and we needed to get another. I was due one and thankfully it went in.

'This is a tough league we are in and some games are more battle and graft than quality. We've had some hard times but it's good to see us move up the league and hopefully that will continue.'
