RUFC - Green 'clean sheet a bonus'

Rotherham United defender, Jamie Green, earned praise from his manager, Mark Robins after the win at Lincoln on Saturday. 'He was outstanding,' Robins told the Official Site.

Jamie spoke to MillersWorld on Saturday evening saying that it was always a bonus to keep clean sheets. 'I've been playing higher up in the last few games which I like,' the young defender said, 'but my prefered position is left back or left wing back. I have felt comfortable playing in the advanced role because I like to attack but I do enjoy the defensive side.

'It was a bonus to get the clean sheet. We could have actually scored three or four because I hit the bar and Jamie Clarke had chances in the first half.'
