'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Taylor 'I want to stay here'

Rotherham United striker, Ryan Taylor, has told The Advertiser, that he wants to stay at the club he has supported since he was a boy.

'I'm a local lad and this club is perfect for me,' the six foot plus ginger haired youngster said. 'I'm only twenty and I know I have a lot to learn. But each match I play in will help me do that and if I can start to get some goals that's when I will really push on. I know what I can do but it's just about getting it out of myself and believing in myself. I'm a good player I just need some consistency. I started the season well then I dropped off but I've come back and I think I'm doing better.

'Body strength is important and I trained at a boxing gym last summer and I've been back a couple of times since to keep ticking over. Now I want that to start to show on the pitch. You've got to be strong in this league.'

Manager, Mark Robins, sent Taylor out on loan to Burton Albion earlier this season and although Ryan said said he enjoyed his time there he also said, 'I've seen the Blue Square Premier League and I think I'm good enough to play in this league. I just want to get better and better and everytime I go out on the field I've got to get out there and start taking my chances and show that I can do it.

'I've always supported Rotherham and I just want to stop here, work hard and score some goals.'

he should stay as the lad shows more passion than most seeing he supports the club he plays for.
