'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'Dance for the fans - I nearly did!'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, was delighted with the five-one win over Chester last night at the Deva Stadium and admitted, when the supporters were shouting for him to dance he very nearly obliged! (although he did say that he didn't quite get that carried away! - shame on you Mark, we'd have loved to have seen a bit of a jig last night! Though, to be fair, Rebuen was asked to dance too and didn't!)

Speaking to MillersWorld after the win, Robins said, 'I thought we worked hard for that win. Chester came out and had a go and they took the lead against the run of play. They are fighting for their lives and have some good players in Ellison and Lowe up front. But when we got the penalty for handball and Reuben Reid tucked it away there was only going to be one winner after that.

'Reuben was outstanding tonight and has started to do the things we know he's capable of doing. Jamie Clarke was unfortunate and with more belief in himself he'd have had a couple tonight and Ryan Taylor came on and picked up the mantel. We did the right things at the right time all over the park and it was a good polished performance tonight. I was really pleased that we got back and took control of the game after going one down.

'It's important we put performances in like this until the end of the season because we want to finish it strongly.'
