RUFC - Robins 'team was outstanding'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, said his team were outstanding after the 2-1 win over third placed Rochdale at Spotland this afternoon.

Speaking to the Official Site, Robins said, 'In difficult conditions the team was outstanding from start to finish today. I am disappointed in the way we conceded the goal and that we didn't score more but overall it was a good display. Reuben Reid, Ryan Taylor and Mark Burchill all played a major part today. Ryan earned the penalty and scored a great goal. Rebuen's goal was a great finish. Mark Hudson and Micky Cummins have been in great form over the last couple of months and Danny Harrison came in and played well today. Andy Warrington and the back four have been solid against a very strong team.'

Robins was asked about Drewe Broughton's injury. 'Drewe has two cuts, one to the crown of his head and one at the back of his ear. He has been in the wars but hopefully he will be back for the game on Tuesday night.'

Burchill played a good game, Bez. Drewe might find it difficult to get back in!
