RUFC - Robins pre Aldershot

Rotherham United play their re-arranged game this evening against Aldershot at Don Valley and Manager, Mark Robins has told the Official Site that there is a doubt about striker, Drewe Broughton.

'Drewe has two gashes in his head from the game on Saturday - one behind the ear that, somehow, the doctor at Rochdale missed but it's all been taken care of now. It's a nasty injury and there will be a doubt about him for the game against Aldershot and it's a decision I shall have to make. Drewe is an honest player but he came out second best on Saturday.

'Jamie Clarke is back in training and has looked lively today and Pablo Mills is also back in training after a bit of a virus so both players are in contention for tonight's game.

'Stephen Brogan is back training but we are treating him with kid gloves at the moment. He's worked very hard for twelve months and he is desperate to get a game under his belt before the end of the season which is the aim. He's got to have a scan on a groin injury which we can't exactly find out where the problem is but he is back in training and says he isn't in any real pain. We will be trying to push him into the Reserves when their games start in earnest in April.

'Ryan Taylor started off the season like a house on fire and then he had a bit of a blip and the supporters got on his back a bit, which actually, might have done him a favour - some players it does, some it doesn't. Ryan has all the ability he needs for this level and higher but it's a matter of getting it out of him on a regular basis. He has to realise that he's not going to always have the game his own way and he has to think his way out of tight spots. He did that on Saturday and I think he was outstanding and put in a very mature performance and I feel justified in giving him all the praise he's got. But, there will be ups and downs before the end of the season, not only with him but with all the players.

'Saying that, at this time of the season all the players are strong.'
