'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins post Chesterfield

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, was delighted with his teams performance and win against Chesterfield yesterday.

Speaking to the Official Site, Robins said, 'I was ecstatic with the performance and, at times, we played some of the best football we've played all season.

'I think Chesterfield thought they were going to come and turn us over but after Martin Gritton missed a good chance early on we controlled the game. Our finishing was excellent and Reuben Reid made another excellent contribution for the cause. He moved well down the side for his first goal and stuck it away and he finished well for his second by lobbing the 'keeper. Pablo (Mills) has been trying for some time to get the ball in the net and he connected with the ball perfectly and it flew in.

'We put Marc Joseph on when Jamie Green came off with a knock on his ankle and I managed to get Jason Taylor on too which is good because of all the games we have coming up.'

A 3-0 win is good any time bit against the Dires and with the way we played it's even sweeter
