'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Warrington 'we won't relax'

Rotherham United 'keeper, Andy Warrington, says that the team are already thinking about next season and there is no room for relaxing just yet.

Speaking to The Advertiser, the Millers' shot stopper says, 'It would be easy for us to relax and say 'we're on our holidays' but we don't. We are focussed on achieving something, not just this season, but next season too and we are working on things in training which we hope will work for us then. We ended last season with four wins and three clean sheets which set us up for how well we did at the start of this season.'

With the win at Luton on Tuesday night and without the minus points, the Millers would have been in third place in the League but Andy doesn't believe the theory that, because the Millers haven't been in the thick of a promotion battle for real, that the pressure has been off them. 'We don't know if there would have been pressure if we'd actually been at the top because we aren't there but I don't think so. We set our stall out to perform anywhere week in and week out and the pressure there is is the pressure we put on ourselves to do well.

'Our aim now is to keep pushing on for the last eight games. From a personal point of view I want to keep more clean sheets. I've got twelve already and we've got fifteen as a team. The most I've ever got was nineteen with Doncaster Rovers in the promotion year and I'd like to surpass that.'
