RUFC - Cummins out for season?

RUFC - Cummins out for season?

Rotherham United's Micky Cummins was 'ambulanced' off at Port Vale on Monday with a knee injury. And, although first reports was that it wasn't as bad as first thought, the club are waiting for the results of a scan after the midfielder woke up on Tuesday with swelling to the knee.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield. Millers' manager, Mark Robins admitted that it didn't look too good for the thirty year old. 'Until we get the results of the scan we won't know the extent of the damage' he said. 'But, it's not looking great and it could be the end of his season. But, he should be OK for the start of pre-season.'

**Update**

The official Site has said today that Micky has had an exploratory operation on his knee and following surgery is expected to be out for three weeks
