RUFC - Taylor 'good to get on the score sheet'

Rotherham United striker, Ryan Taylor, scored his first goal for the Millers for a while on Saturday against Shrewsbury and was also named the Sponsors Man of the Match.

Speaking to MillersWorld, the twenty year old said, 'It was my first goal for a while and it was good to get on the score sheet but I am disappointed that we didn't get all three points.

'For my goal, Sharpsy flicked it down to me and I turned and hit it and it hit the wall and went in. I am happy to get the goal but perhaps should have had another one later when Tongey pulled it back to me I should have smashed through it.

'I've got to take my chance now and try and keep my place in the team and get more goals. The goals I've got have been OK but I need to be able to do the scrappy things too because that's how other strikers get their goal average up.'
