'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins Post Morecambe

Rotherham United are now on target again to finish in the top three of, what Manager, Mark Robins, calls his 'imaginary league.' This is the league what would have been if not for the points deduction at the start of the season.

'We intend to finish in the top three,' Robins told the Official Site, 'and the game against Exeter in two weeks time could be crucial.'

Speaking about last night and how the substitutions seem to turn the game around, the gaffer told Les Payne of The Star, 'It's the players who make the substitutions work. But it's nice when it comes off and makes a change from people singing 'you don't know what you're doing.'

Robins had nothing but praise for striker, Ryan Taylor, saying, 'Ryan was outstanding for us playing against three powerful centre-halves. When Ryan is on form I don't think there are too many better than him in this division. If he keeps playing like that then he is destined for better things. Jason Taylor came on because Mark Hudson looked tired and when he plays like he did tonight he can be an awesome player for us. Mark Burchill came on and made a good contribution and stuck the penalty away.

'It was an excellent three points for us tonight.'
