'If It's Football, It's Vital'
RUFC - Stewart 'end of the month'
Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart, in his programme notes on Saturday said that he hopes to announce something about the new ground by 'the end of the month.'
'Watch this space,' he told The Star, 'we are going places.'
The latest speculation about the site of the ground has now put Templeborough into the frame as the possible place. The Millers have three years of the four the Football League gave them to move back into Rotherham. Not long when you think that, in that time, plans have to be drawn up, submitted and approved as well as having funds for its construction. Of course it is doable but, time is ticking on and, in my opinion, something concrete has to be sorted in the next few weeks.
Mr Stewart also said that the club are very close to releasing information about the whereabouts of the new training ground with the rumours being that it will be at Wingfield.

When I worked up there we used to go to The Temple, but that might be shut down now of course and another called Fox and Duck which I think is still open - but no, they will have to build some!
