RUFC - Brogan delighted to be back

Rotherham United defender, Stephen Brogan, told MillersWorld that he was thrilled to play on Saturday, after nearly fifteen months on the sidelines with a double fracture of his leg.

'It was an amazing feeling,' the twenty-one year old said. 'My friends and family were watching and it was good to hear the fans appreciation. I got the nod towards the end of the game to get my shirt on and although I didn't get long, it put the last fifteen months behind me.

'My leg is still a bit stiff and we'll be working on that over the summer but there's no pain. I hope to get as fit as everyone else for the pre-season and be up to the standard I was before the injury. I can't wait to get started.'

It was great to see you back on Saturday, Stephen!
