RUFC - Tonge extends contract

RUFC - Tonge extends contract

Rotherham United defender, Dale Tonge, has signed a new two year deal today.

Speaking to the Official Site, he said, 'I am delighted to sign. It is an exciting time at the football club and I am happy to be part of it.

'I think I have improved from last season and am looking to taking that into next season and hopefully help the club to promotion.

'I finished the season in double figures with assists and for me, and the team, it was a successful season. I hope to contribute with a few more goals next season.'

Dale joined the Millers from Barnsley in May 2007 and has made over seventy appearances for the club. Unfortunately, during the last game of the season, he recieved his first ever red card.
