RUFC - Nostalgia Society

Rotherham United Nostalgia Society have former Millers midfielder, Ian Banks, as guest speaker this evening.

Ian joined the Millers in 1992 and played for two seasons, bringing with him a wealth of experience. He played seventy six games for Rotherham scoring eight goals.

He began his career with Barnsley where he scored thirty seven goals in his five years with them. He then moved onto Leicester, Huddersfield, Bradford, West Brom and back to Barnsley before coming to Millmoor. He finished his league career with Darlington and, after a brief spell out of the game, he went to Chesterfield and Bradford as assistant manager to ex Miller, and Banks' brother-in-law, Nicky Law.

Ian is currently manager of AFC Emley, who finished eighth this season in the North Counties East League One.

The meeting is at the Green Dragon at Kimberworth and begins at 8.30pm. All Welcome.
