RUFC - Fenton 'gaffer kept promise'

Rotherham United defender, Nick Fenton, has played fifty-six games for the Millers since joining last August and he says he is delighted with that milestone.

'I kept free of injury and suspensions,' the twenty-nine year old told the Official Site, 'and have played fifty-six games as a result, which is a big achievement. I don't think there are many players who can say they have started that many games in a row and I am really pleased with that.

'This new deal will keep me at the club for another two years which is fantastic. The gaffer said that if things went well he would reward me and he's kept his promise.'

Nick says one of the highlights of the season was the cup win over neighbours, Sheffield Wednesday and carried on to say, 'the wins over Leeds, Wolves and Leicester were also fantastic and will always stay in the memory.'
