RUFC - Harrison signs extension

Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Harrison has signed a one year extension to his contract today, which makes him a Miller until June 2010.

Speaking to the Official Site, the twenty-six year old said, 'To stay was a no brainer to be honest. We have made some good additions this summer, which means there will be more competition for places, which we all want. There is loads of ambition at the club and we are all confident that we can make it back to League One.`

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas said, 'Danny has been a good servant to the club over the last couple of years and we are pleased to have him on board for the foreseeable future.`

Danny joined the Millers on a free from Tranmere two years ago and he made thirty-two appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.
