Rivals Network Closed Down

Some years ago, Rivals was head and shoulders above any fans independent internet site out there. However, around two years ago, many Rivals publishers began to leave the Network when BSkyB bought out the company and after no consultation what-so-ever the company decided to launch a long overdue overhaul, after which a lot of things didn't work.

If you belonged to the Rivals network and want to come and join us here on Vital, please feel free to join in our forums. If you were an editor on Rivals get in touch with me or any of the other Vital Eds.

Shame that, it was the first forum that I posted on. But after a while, I just couldn't get on anymore, so gave up.

One in the eye for murdoch's conglomerate ! sad for those who worked hard but had their sites sold out by rivals. overjoyed the aussie scum has got a black eye.

do you honestly believe that murdochs caring about rivals.net??+ shame the places gone but in reality Millersnet was dead and teh overhaul just killed it. If ive been on there 5 times in the past year then its an exageration.

sorry for what is essentially a 'copy and paste' job, but my message to anyone from rivals – after the sad decline of that network – that is considering coming over to vital football for whatever side is...do it!
whatever club you support vital football is the place for you for fantastic banter, quality writing and what can be fantastic forums too...
do not just think about it, do it – join vital crew and get involved is what i say...

I am a fan of a rival club to Rotherham but have always felt most welcome and that seems to be the same across the whole board.
