RUFC - Robins 'Reid still a Miller'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has told want away striker, Reuben Reid that he is still a Rotherham United player.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, 'Until anyone matches our valuation of him he is still our player. Like everyone else he will work towards getting himself fit and getting a place in the team. If he wants to prove to people that he's worth his salt then he has to do the right thing by his employers, which is us, the club.'

Reid, who is twenty-one later this month, put in a transfer request last week which the club 'reluctantly' accepted. This was after the Millers turned down a reported £100,000 bid from MK Dons for him.

But what do you think about Reid's tranfer request? How much do you think he's worth? Would you want to keep someone who has asked to leave? But, who is there out there who could replace him? Come on into Vital Rotherham and tell us your thoughts? To visit the message board, click here.
