'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Probably the best partnership in the world

Rotherham United have announced another new partnership today - that of Carlsberg, who have agreed to join the club through different areas throughout the course of the season.

Miller's Commercial Director, Steve Coakley told the Official Site that he was delighted to have them on board, saying, 'This is another indication how much progress is being made at the club.'

Ben Shaw the Customer Area Manager of Carlsberg said, 'We are delighted for the opportunity to be part of the clubs' plans. As we are already in partnership with SIV at Don Valley, when we were offered the opportunity to work with Rotherham United it seemed to be a perfect fit.'

With Perry's agreeing to extend their association with the Millers and news that Sports Identity will sponsor next season's away shirt, it has been a busy time for the club and in particular Steve Coakley and he said, 'I am more than encouraged by the level of interest shown in sponsorship, hospitality and advertising ahead of the new season.'
