'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins on Sven

Rotherham United has told The Advertiser that he isn't worried about Notts County even though they have just signed ex England coach, Sven Goran Eriksson as their Director of Football.

'Sven will fit in,' Robins said, 'people forget he he coached at a lower level earlier in his career with Degerfors in Sweden.

'He will raise the profile of League Two, which is getting better every year - you only have to look at the quality of players who are coming into the division to see that. Notts County are setting the standard now and they've got to look up to it. They are bringing in experienced players and it will be difficult to keep up with them because we've not got anywhere near the resources they have.'

Notts County were recently taken over by Middle-East consortium Munto Finance and it is believed that Sven Goran Eriksson has a contract that is based on the future success of the club with a large percentage share holding making up his contract.
