RUFC - Warne 'good chance of going up'

Rotherham United's latest signing, Paul Warne has told The Advertiser that he is 'comfortable' at Rotherham and that he thinks they have a good chance of going up.

The thirty-six year old has impressed in the friendlies so far and he says that there is a good set of players at the club.

'From the first day of the season at Yeovil, I was always in a relegation battle and it was just about surviving which made it depressing. I don't want to be disrespectful to them, but that's why I was in no rush to sign. I didn't want my career to peter out in a scrap every week. There's a big squad here and there is a good chance that we might go up.'

Warney began his career with Wigan before moving to the Millers in 1999. He had a loan spell at Mansfield and moved to Oldham before joining Yeovil Town in 2007. He has signed a one year deal with the Millers.
