RUFC - Meet the Players

Rotherham United are giving fans the chance not only to meet the players but also for a look behind the scenes at Don Valley.

There is an open day at Don Valley on Sunday, 26th July where fans will get a chance to look around the dressing rooms, hospitality area and matchday control room. The management will be there along with the first team players.

'The day will be a great occasion,' Mark Hitchens, Community Officer, told the Official Site. 'Fans will have the chance to meet the players and coaching staff and enjoy the events that are planned for the day.'

Don Valley will be open from 10am - 2pm

There is also a chance for fans to meet some of the clubs' summer signings on Thursday, 30th July at Parkgate Shopping Centre. Tom Pope, Nicky Law and Kevin Ellison will be at the Pure Party Store between 5.30pm and 6.30pm and Commercial Manager, Steve Coakley told The Advertiser, 'It's a great chance for us to get out into the community and meet the fans at, what we hope, is the start of a great season. It should be an enjoyable night.'
