RUFC - Robins Disapppointed

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins was 'disappointed' after today's loss to Doncaster Rovers.

'I didn't think we'd be beaten four-nil,' the gaffer told the Official Site. 'I thought it would be difficult because of the side I picked but there is only two weeks left until the start of the season and it is important to give players minutes on the pitch.

'It took us a while to settle down today and we never really got close to them. But, Doncaster are a good side and the way they play is effective and I take my hat off to them.

'I've mixed things up today but I shall be looking to play a different side on Tuesday and then we have a game on Wednesday night where I'll be looking at the players who don't get a game on Tuesday.

'It was a lesson for us today and we certainly have to be better. Once again we gifted the opposition a couple of goals and we know we've got to be better than that. Whichever way you look at it, it was still a workout today.'
