'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - The Football League Show

In the past, Saturday night has always been for the 'big' clubs on Match of the Day and the only time the smaller clubs got a look in was on FA Cup Saturdays.

But, as from next Saturday, 8th August, there is a new show starting on the BBC called The Football League Show which will have all the goals from The Championship and League's One and Two.

The show will be presented by Manish Bhasin and Steve Claridge will also be in the studio with Mark Clemmit being the roving reporter.

The show will follow Match of the Day and begin at 11.10pm. Can't catch it then? It will also be available for seven days on BBC iPlayer and on the Red Button service until Sunday midday.

Stewart Thomson, Football League Commercial Director, told the Football League Official Site, 'This season, football league club supporters will be able to enjoy their club matches across a range of different broadcasting platforms which will give them the most comprehensive coverage of our competitions that have ever been seen.'
