RUFC - Le Fondre Deal OFF

Rotherham United have announced today that the deal with Adam Le Fondre has fallen through.

Paul Douglas, Chief Operating Officer, told the Official Site, 'We had a deal agreed with Rochdale but the deal has fallen through because we could not agree on the players' wage demands.

'The Chairman will, of course, continue to support the Manager in his attempts to strengthen the squad.'

Now why doesn't that surprise me! I wish RUFC would keep their mouths shut and only put things on OS when deal done and dusted. The amount of fans on other sites were on cloud 9 , now theyv'e come down with a bump. I will not believe until the player pulls his boots on and is on the field!!!

Never thought that Le Fondre would be greedy but clearly he thinks you've got deep pockets

Might not be him, Wellers, you know what agents are like these days. He would have been a great player for us.

Thing is, SB, we are always moaning that the club tell us nothing!

And, anyway, never say never. . . .
