'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins delighted with win

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, said, 'We played well,' after last night's win over Grimsby at Blundell Park.

Speaking to the Official Site, Robins said, 'I thought we played some decent stuff and could have won by more goals. In the first forty-five minutes we penned them into their own half and we kept plugging away and got our rewards in the second half. It was good to see Adam (Le Fondre) on the scoresheet and long may that continue. He is a confident lad and should eventually pair up alongside Tom Pope very well.

'The only downside to the win was the injuries. Jamie Green picked up a knock and Ian Sharps limped out with a groin strain. We need to keep an eye on things injury wise but we will enjoy tonight and move onto the next game.'
