RUFC - Robins 'got to get standards right'
Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins says that he thought a couple of things went unnoticed by the officials in yesterday's game at Don Valley.
Speaking to Radio Sheffield he said, 'I need to look at the DVD of the game. The goal that was disallowed from Adam Le Fondre, well the flag went straight up, yet they charged one down minutes later and he lets it go on.
'It's the inconsistency of it. When you've won and got your three points things pale into insignificance but they shouldn't do because we are looking at standards and we need to get those standards right.'
Quite a few people walking away from the game yesterday had grumbles about the referee and his assistants yesterday. And, I have to agree with Mark Robins that it's the inconsistency of it all that annoys people more than anything.
