RUFC - Martin Mac on Ronnie's appointment

Rotherham United will officially appoint ex boss, Ronnie Moore tomorrow at a press conference and, it is thought, that Jimmy Mullen will be brought in as his number two.

Radio Sheffield spoke to ex Miller, Martin McIntosh after the announcement was made and he said, 'That's fantastic news for the football club.'

Martin, who is currently at NPL Premier Division side, Guiseley carried on, 'He was the obvious choice and the fans will be excited that he is coming back.'

When asked if he would like to work with Ronnie Moore again, the tall defender said,
'I had a good relationship with Ronnie and the club but that will be up to Ronnie and the powers who be.'

The club is dreadfully short of backroom staff at the moment - is it that Martin McIntosh is being lined up for a return as well?
