'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Hursty on Ronnie

Rotherham United's longest serving player and now joint Manager of Boston, Paul Hurst says Ronnie Moore knows his stuff.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Hursty said, 'Ronnie seems to be the man that every Rotherham fan wanted. I was a bit surprised that the appointment didn't happen earlier.

'As a Manager he's very bubbly and a good character and he will make sure the team are organised and that they play with desire. He knows his football inside out.

'Rotherham have a strong squad and it will be interesting to see if Ronnie will change the squad or the formation. After all, he is his own man.

'The fans will expect things of Ronnie and the club has a good chance of getting promotion - but they might also expect back to back promotions like before and they have to have a hint of realism.

'But, there is a special place in Rotherham fans hearts for Ronnie Moore.'
