'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Harrison 'try to work my socks off'

Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Harrison showed what a powerful shot he has last Saturday when he let fly and hit the post, that seemed to rattle for quite a while afterwards, against Cheltenham.

I think Harrison has had a good start to the season, after becoming a bit of a 'boo' boy for the fans at the end of last year.

Speaking to The Advertiser the twenty-seven year old said, 'I've probably been in my best run of form since I got here and that goes hand in hand with how the team are playing.

'I try to work my socks off and win my headers and tackles and I've chipped in with a few goals. Pablo (Mills) and I have a nice understanding - sometimes he let's me go forward and sometimes he gets forward too.

'I am feeling quite fit and that's helping me with my game.'

Danny began his career at Tranmere after coming successfully through the Youth set-up there and was a regular first teamer when Brian Little was manage. He signed for the Millers in the summer of 2007 and his first goal for the club was against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carling Cup at Hillsborough.
