RUFC - Stewart 'Great Day for Rotherham United'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart says the appointment of Ronnie Moore as Manager was unanimous.

Speaking to the Official Site, Mr Stewart said, 'We met with eight individuals and I, and the directors, unanimously said that Ronnie Moore is the man for the job.

'Myself and the directors took our time to see what was available with regard a new Manager for Rotherham United. We had over fifty applicants and put a shortlist together. Out of that list there was only one that shone - Ronnie Moore.'

The Chairman went on to say, 'Welcome back Ronnie Moore and I am sure that myself, the staff and the fans want to wish Ronnie and the team all the best for the future. It is a great day for Rotherham United.'
