RUFC - Moore Points The Finger At Defensive Lapses

RUFC - Moore Points The Finger At Defensive Lapses

Ronnie Moore's first game back in charge of Rotherham ended in defeat, as the Millers slipped to a 3-1 defeat at struggling Northampton.

Ryan Gilligan, Courtney Herbert and an Ian Sharps own goal had the Cobblers 3-0 up before a Adam Le Fondre penalty reduced the deficit but it was too little too late.

Moore was left disappointed by the defeat and blamed the defensive lapses: 'when you consider how well we've played this season to concede the goals we did was disappointing,' Moore told BBC Radio Sheffield. 'Defensively, we've been a bit all over the place.

'But you could see the passing and movement was there - the difference was in the two boxes.'

Do you agree with Ronnie Moore's views?

Now that was a surprise, wtf happened? RU should be able to take these struggling teams and put them away no problem.
