'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pre Hereford

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told MillersWorld that he hopes for the same result as the last game at Don Valley, which was a three-nil Millers win.

'The last game here was brilliant,' Ronnie said, 'but if we think Hereford is going to be easy then we'll get a rude awakening. They are coming into a bit of form and we have to show them respect. But, it's about us and we have to get in their faces and play how we know we can play. Hereford will want to play. They have six players on loan which is a bit unusual and they are good basic players. Our back four have to be strong and if they defend well we will win the game. I can't see why Hereford won't want to get forward because it's a big pitch. I think it will be an entertaining game and, if we play to our ability then it will take a really good side to beat us.'

Talking about Don Valley, Ronnie said, 'It is strange. The fans are on one side and the dugouts on the other side. I don't think there's another ground in the country like that.

'The club has done very well to be where they are after what's gone on in the last couple of years. It's remarkable and a credit to everyone at the club. What I have to do now is take it on and gain the promotion we want and get ourselves into that first division.'
