'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Chairman looking forward to Saturday's game

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart is looking forward to Saturday's game against Notts County at Don Valley.

Speaking to the Official Site, Mr Stewart said he could probably have sold the Matchday Hospitality for the game three times over.

'There's certainly plenty of interest in the game,' he said. 'Both teams are in a healthy position in the league and the close proximity of the teams adds another dimension.

'Our highest league attendance at Don Valley was the final game of last season against Exeter City which was 6,184. Both Ronnie (Moore) and I have been talking and we would both like to beat that on Saturday.

'If we generate the same sort of atmosphere as we did when we played Chesterfield then it will set this game up to be quite something.'
