RUFC - Moore - Brogan not a million miles away

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Stephen Brogan is 'not a million miles away' from finding his full fitness.

Brogan, twenty-one, has been battling back from fracturing his leg in February last year and played the full ninety minutes for the reserves on Wednesday evening at Don Valley.

'We played Stephen wide on the left of mid-field,' Moore told The Advertiser, 'which was to improve his fitness. He's not a million miles away.'

The reserves lost the game 2-1 to Scunthorpe after leading with a goal from Grant Darley.

'We had enough chances to win,' Moore said, 'but there are some positives. Mark Lynch did OK and he's going to be putting Dale Tonge under a bit of pressure at right-back. And, it was important that Nick Fenton got some game time with him being suspended for the match this weekend.'

I know Warney says 'no' but do you think we need a defensive coach?
