Hanging On The Wire..

The Millers battle to beat the drop will go to the last game of the season against MK Dons after the Millers lost 2-0 at Colchester yesterday.

Colchester secured victory thanks to a Shaun Barker own-goal in the first half and a Mark Yeates adding a second after the break leaving Phil Parkinson's side with a clear view of the championship.

Yeats had already hit the bar by the time United took the lead through a freak own goal.

Neil Danns crossed and Barker headed past goalkeeper Neil Cutler in the 30th minute to give the us a 1-0 lead.

Eight minutes after the break, Scott Vernon lobbed into acres of space and Yeates pounced with a lovely strike from just outside the area.

The Millers piled forward but in fairness never looked like getting back into the game

Next weeks game against the dons will decide whether we watch division 1 or 2 football at Millmoor next season.

One thing is certain if you are a Miller's supporter we never have a dull moment.

jealous!?! how could they be jealous of you? they're hoping to get in the play offs and have money to spend on big players while you are battling to stay up and are in serious financial trouble!
