RUFC - Moore 'strikers had no shots at goal'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore didn't think his strikers had any headers or shots at goal yesterday against Aldershot at Don Valley. But, he said, it wasn't necessarily their fault.

'The service has got to be better,' he told Radio Sheffield after the game. 'We've got to start playing litte balls in for Alfie (Adam Le Fondre) so he can turn and get at people and not go route one too quickly. We need to play balls in behind him and Popey (Tom Pope)so they can turn.

'Tom is lacking in confidence but he'll come through that. I saw him play for Crewe and he was outstanding. We'll work with him in training and make him the player we know he can be.'

We played 3 up front yesterday - which is useless if they aren't getting the balls into the box
