'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Broughton 'we need to work hard'

Rotherham United striker, Drewe Broughton says that the club are not suffering from lack of confidence.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, the thirty-one year old said, 'The run of results we've had are frustrating, and the training ground is never a nice place to be when results haven't gone for you.'

With the Millers only winning one game in their last six, a lot of us fans have been wondering if confidence is low at the moment. It certainly isn't promotion form, although we are still fifth in the league.

'I don't think there is a crisis in confidence here,' Broughton carried on. 'Confidence isn't as high as it has been but what we need to do is turn it round by working hard and give everyone a lift.'

Drewe joined the Millers in August last year, originally on a short term contract, but his passion and the one hundred per cent he always gives, meant his contract was soon extended. He was injured in pre-season so hasn't started many games this season so far. Perhaps an extended run in the team might be what he needs and then, hopefully, that would rub off on the other players too.
