'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ellison felt like booing too!

Rotherham United`s Kevin Ellison says that, if he`d been a Rotherham fan at Don Valley on Saturday, he`d have probably booed after the first half as well.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Ellison said, 'It was one of those matches where you try and do things and it doesn`t come off. You get frustrated with yourself. '

The Millers nil-nil with Aldershot was the second in consecutive games at Don Valley and coupled with the loss at Bury, the fans were quick to show what they thought by jeering and booing the team off.

Ellison carried on, 'There were a few long balls out there and the lads were getting frustrated. When we got into the dressing room the lads were having a chirp at each other and the manager said, 'well, I didn`t tell you to hoof it` which was true. I think we start thinking we must get the ball forward quickly to try and score and that resulted in a long ball game. It wasn`t the prettiest game with both teams cancelling each other out. But at least we didn`t lose.`

Speaking about Manager, Ronnie Moore, Ellison said, 'Ronnie is experienced and the lads have all got confidence in him. '
