'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore on the FA Cup

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says he wants to go as far as he can in the FA Cup.

The Millers start their campaign on Sunday away at Wealdstone of the Isthmian League Premier Division.

'There's nothing better than winning that first round,' Moore told MillersWorld, 'then the second and everyone is waiting for that third round draw and everyone wants Manchester United in the cup! It's important for the finances too - I think it's about eighteen grand if you qualify through this round and then it goes up. So, it's all to play for.

'If we play to our ability it's a game we should win but the FA Cup is about shocks. We just have to make sure it's not us.'

For Wealdstone, Sunday is their Cup Final and they will certainly be up for this game. A wide range of National newspapers have been in touch with Wealdstone and ITV Sport are sending a camera down. The game will also be live on local BBC radio stations.

So, as Ronnie says, we don't want to be one of the shocks of the round - so play up lads!
