Rotherham 12th Man Game



Proud Rotherham , our town, our Club, needs its fans, a 12th man to reignite the passion to bring a promotion that will lift the entire community. The Recession has not been kind to us and Corus cutting jobs has seen an inevitable impact on the local shops and businesses that are the lifeblood of our community. Rotherham United however remains our beating heart and soul, despite being parted from our spiritual home. It is safe to say Millers know what it is to go through difficult times, but never lose hope or sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. Twice we`ve been on the brink of losing the club and twice someone has come in and saved us. The club are currently looking for a site in the town to build a new stadium while playing in neighbouring Sheffield . Not ideal, but necessary.

A small step yes but let us make the first of them with a fundraising game. At £5 for the whole duration of the game you simply register, pick two numbers, get two teams and the money is split between the winner and our fighting fund. Land on 21 goals and you get the pot with us using the rest to fund the club (perhaps the youth team) Don`t worry if you haven`t got the money now if you join in a week or two your goals will be counted back.

As the Millers 12th Man game gets off the ground, and I`m sure, with your help, it will, then in the future we could well help the club, which, in turn would help the town. In time this game and the Rotherham 12th Man will also be the springboard for so much more.

So, come on in and help us to lay the first bricks and join in the Millers 12th Man
