'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Law 'all delighted for Paddy'

Rotherham United's Nicky Law scored the winner for the Millers on Saturday at Port Vale in the dying minutes of the game but he has something to say about the first goalscorer, Stephen 'Paddy' Brogan.

'It's like having a new signing at the club,' Law told Dom Howson of The Star.

Brogan has been playing with the Reserves recently trying to get back to full fitness after his horrific double fracture leg injury in February last year. He came on for the injured Kevin Ellison after fifteen minutes on Saturday and scored the Millers' first goal.

'Everyone is absolutely delighted for Paddy,' Law carried on. 'He's worked his socks off to get back in the side and he showed he is back to his best on Saturday. He's a great lad.'

Speaking about his winner, Law said, 'I think it's only the second goal of my professional career on my left foot! Luckily it went in. It was one of my most important goals in terms of how late it was and because we desperately needed the three points. The match was a big win for us.'
