RUFC - Moore Happy After Win

Rotherham United beat Lincoln City at Don Valley tonight thanks to two goals from goal machine Adam Le Fondre in some of the worst conditions I have seen at a football match.

Speaking to MillersWorld, Manager, Ronnie Moore said he was pleased with the four wins in four games and was 'happy with tonights performance.'

'It was a horrible night,' Moore said, 'and the pitch didn't help, the wetter it got the more it cut up. But we've tried to get the ball down and tried to pass it. When the second goal went in it was like a massive relief for the lads.'

Speaking about his two loan signings, he went on to say, 'Adam Rundle has got ability, you can see that. He likes to come inside and pass it. He scores goals as well and I think, like Gary Roberts, it's games that he needs. As soon as Roberts gets on the ball he steadies it and slows it down. He can pick the long pass out or pick the short pass out. It's just fitness now for him and once his fitness levels are up we've got a Championship player there for nothing really. They will both be better for the game tonight.

'Tom Pope did well today. He's worked really hard. He's not really had a chance in the game but that will come.

'And, we've not seen the best of Ryan Taylor. He's way better than the way he performed on Saturday. But it will come and it needs someone, maybe me, to get into his head and get the best out of him.

'I'd like to see Nicky Law doing a bit more. I think the game today passed him by and I've told him that. The quality he's got on the ball we need to see more often. We've put him in midfield so he can get the ball and do some damage and I don't think he did that today.'
