RUFC - Moore wants another striker

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore was asked, after the two-nil win over Lincoln last night, about the change up front. After playing Ryan Taylor there on Saturday, Drewe BroughtonTom Pope was back in the side last night.

'If they perform they stay in, it's as simple as that,' Moore told MillersWorld, 'and I don't think Popey did anything wrong tonight.

'We've made no secret of the fact that we've been trying to sign a striker, Enoch Showamni was mentioned.

'We need someone to compliment Alfie (Adam Le Fondre).'

After speaking to Leeds United fans over the last couple of weeks, and hearing their thoughts on Showamni, I, for one, am rather pleased we didn't sign him.

So, who else is out there? Do we really need anyone else? I thought Tom Pope did well last night and, if memory serves, he's got six assists this season - and that's what Alf needs, someone to get the ball to him, so he can perform his magic up front.
